In a recent interview with The Verge, Xbox helm Phil Spencer once again reiterated that after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the "Call of Duty" series will remain on the PlayStation platform.
Spencer said: “We promised to continue to provide the Call of Duty series to the PlayStation platform after the completion of the acquisition”.
“I hope this commitment can reduce the worries of many players. We are committed to enriching the game content of Game Pass, so that players have more choices in games”. Spencer added.
AndroBliz understands that in the past year or so, Spencer has been emphasizing in public that this popular FPS shooting game will not become an Xbox exclusive game, and other non-Xbox platforms can also play these games.
He even emphasized in the interview: "As long as PlayStation exists, players can play the "Call of Duty" series."
Spencer further emphasized: “I think players on PlayStation want to be able to play Minecraft as well. The reason we expanded Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends was not to make a deal with Sony, but more importantly for our players”.
