Earlier this year, Porsche’s electric car Taycan broke the Nurburgring Nordschleife electric car lap record. Now, Porsche provides the Nurburgring track package for Taycan, which is currently only available in the German market.
The Taycan Peformance package includes 21-inch RS Spyder designed lightweight wheels (currently only available as an option on the Taycan GTS), Pirelli P Zero Corsa performance tires, redesigned Porsche 4D Chassis Control (tuning the suspension and adding grip in conjunction with the grip).
Worth mentioning is that not only the tires feature higher performance rubber but also a larger contact patch, measuring 275 millimeters wider at the front (10 millimeters wider than the standard 21-inch Turbo S wheels) and 325 millimeters wider at the rear (more 20 mm wide).
The package is only available on the Taycan Turbo S model and does not provide any suspension or any other mechanical changes.
AndroBliz learned that the price of the kit in Germany is 13,377 euros, and it is reported that Porsche is considering offering this performance kit in other markets.
