According to TheElec, Samsung has removed Partron from the camera module supply chain for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 phones to be launched next year. Partron is the supplier of Galaxy Z Fold4 camera launched in early August this year. A major supplier of camera modules.

It is reported that for next year's Galaxy Z Flip5, Samsung will use Mcnex, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Cammsys as suppliers for the front camera.

For the Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung will also use these three companies as primary suppliers, while Sunny Optical will be a secondary supplier.

Sources say Partron is already a secondary supplier of camera modules for the Galaxy S23 series, which will be launched in a few months.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Powerlogics, Mcnex, Namuga and Sunny Optical are the primary suppliers, while Partron is a secondary or tertiary supplier, depending on the module.

AndroBliz learned that Partron is also trying to diversify its product portfolio, reduce its reliance on smartphone cameras, and is committed to expanding into the automotive field.

At present, Partron is still the main supplier of Galaxy A series and Galaxy M series smartphones, and these mid-to-low-end mobile phones account for a higher proportion of shipments.
