Samsung: Demand For Foldable Smartphones From Corporate Customers Increased By 105%

Samsung has been very successful in selling smartphones to corporate customers. For example, 740,000 Galaxy XCover Pro units sold to Walmart replaced handheld scanners and in-store walkie-talkies. But now, a new category is becoming popular among business users – foldable smartphones.

The company revealed that from January to October of this year, it sold 105% more foldable smartphones to corporate customers compared to the same period in 2021.

However, Samsung did not provide figures. details of the sales of Z Fold4 and Z Flip4, but it seems that the new Galaxy Z Fold4 is the device of more interest to business customers.

The Fold has a large display that makes it possible to review data from multiple sources and handle multiple apps at once, and many of those apps also support the Z Fold4's styling.

For example, Bloomberg Professional is an application used by investment professionals such as traders, analysts, and portfolio managers.

They can quickly switch from chatting on Instant Bloomberg on the external display to viewing real-time market data and news on the large internal screen.

Folding screen smartphones are also attracting ordinary users. According to Samsung, worldwide shipments of foldable smartphones will total 16 million this year (up 73% compared to 2021) and forecast for next year is 26 million.
