A new survey reveals that the vast majority of iPhone users want the iPhone 15 models to come with a new design.
According to a survey conducted by SellCell, users still want a "mini" iPhone, but a new design is the most desired feature from the iPhone 15 range.

SellCell asked more than 2,500 ‌iPhone ‌ users in the United States for some information regarding the Cupertino company's products.

The most popular Apple device to buy this holiday season this year is the ‌ iPhone ‌‌‌‌, with 37.4 percent of respondents planning to buy one for Christmas. AirPods take second place with 18.7%, followed by the Apple Watch with 16.3%.

The HomePod mini is the least popular Apple device to buy for Christmas, with just 2.9% of respondents planning to buy one. It's also worth noting that 40.6% of respondents won't buy an Apple device during the holidays.

When asked if they planned to upgrade to an iPhone 14 model, 13.6% of respondents said they already have, while 29.7% plan to do so in the near future.

Of the 56.7% who have no plans to upgrade, 45.3% said they want to keep their current device for longer and 5.1% said they look forward to the launch of the iPhone lineup 15. 2.4% of respondents are apparently waiting for the fourth generation iPhone SE to launch.

59.4% of respondents planning to buy an ‌iPhone 14‌ model say they are willing to wait five weeks to get hold of the new device.

The survey then moved on to the new iPhone 14 Plus model, with 20.4% of respondents saying they already have one or plan to buy one. 22.5% said it was too expensive, 12.1% said it was too big, 7.8% said it had a poor mix of features compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, 6.6% said the price is too close to that of the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ and 6.6% said they would have preferred a device with a smaller form factor.

As for the ‌iPhone 15‌ models, a new design is at the top of users' wish list.

Finally, 28.8% of respondents want to see the return of accessories such as EarPods and a power supply, 23.9% want the ‌iPhone 15‌ to have a periscope zoom camera, 23.6% would like to see the return of the Touch ID, 20.3% want the ‌iPhone‌ to move to USB-C and 11.7% want Dynamic Island to expand across the entire ‌iPhone 15‌ model lineup.
