Additionally, the port will support ray tracing, technical performance improvements, and content based on the Netflix series.
After two postponements, a representative of CD Projekt RED stated that there are no problems with the production of the port of The Witcher 3 for the new generation.

However, after the announcement of the remake of the first game in the saga at the end of October, CD Projekt RED confirmed, last Monday (14), that The Witcher 3 arrives on December 14 to PS5.

The new version will feature several new features, including "dozens of visual, performance and technical improvements", as well as a "variety of mods".

The information was confirmed in a press release (via Push Square), although there is no indication of which mods will be used.

It is worth remembering that the third title in the franchise has a very active community of modders on the PC, which always releases content to make the graphics and game performance even better on the platform.

The Witcher 3 on PS5 will be able to take advantage of several other next-gen features, including ray tracing support and faster load times.

In addition, it has already been confirmed that the “Complete Edition”, which comes with the DLCs “Hearts of The Stone” and “Blood and Wine”, will be accompanied by “new additional content inspired by the Netflix series”.

In the announcement, CD Projekt RED also promised a broadcast next week where they will reveal more details about the next-gen port.
