Ubisoft Released First Concept Art Of Splinter Cell Remake

One fact that shook some fans' confidence about the Splinter Cell remake was the departure of director David Grivel from Ubisoft last month.

The dev worked for 11 years at the company and was responsible for games like Far Cry 6 and Assassin's Creed Unity.

Meanwhile, after a long hiatus from gaming, Sam Fisher is finally back! Ubisoft took everyone by surprise this Thursday (17) by revealing the first concept arts of the highly anticipated remake of Splinter Cell.

The material was released in a long video to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise, which turns 20 today. The images are just a small glimpse of the project officially announced in December last year.

According to a job opening at Ubisoft in September, Splinter Cell will be remade to reach an even wider audience. Among the novelties of the remake, fans can expect a remade story, but faithful to the original.

The project is being developed based on the Snowdrop graphics engine, the same used in other titles by the company, such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora . So far, the remake has no premiere date and no defined platforms.
