According to Digital Foundry, playback at 60 FPS is similar in both, but in 120 FPS mode the Sony console stands out
Activision released Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 on November 16th and since then, the community has been enjoying the new battle royale.

But which console does it run best on? According to Digital Foundry, the frame rate, at least in 120 FPS mode, is more consistent on PS5 than Xbox Series X.

Known for its technical and precise analysis, the vehicle published a 17-minute video in which it delves into the performance of the title on new generation consoles.

Running at 60 FPS, performance is very similar on both. However, in the 120 FPS option, the Sony console is more consistent and takes a 10 FPS advantage over the Series X – especially when there is a lot of information on the screen.

On the Xbox Series S things are different. On Microsoft's home console, Warzone 2.0 rarely hits 120 FPS and there are sudden drops below 70 FPS in some situations.

With new modes, maps and several other new features, the new battle royale of the franchise is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
