According to Tom Henderson, the new game in the franchise has already been “postponed internally twice” by Ubisoft
Ubisoft is still mysterious about Assassin's Creed Mirage's release date, but there are already people out there speculating about the possible window. According to journalist Tom Henderson, the debut of the new franchise game could happen in August 2023.

Henderson, who has proven himself to be a credible source before, revealed the details in a report on Insider Gaming. According to him, “the window is provisional and subject to change”, although the game has been “internally postponed twice” by the French publisher.

The 2023 date already meant the series would pass its two-year gap between games. But, an August target suggests we could get the Mirage three years after Valhalla if it's delayed internally again by a few months.

With the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage on both previous and current gen consoles, it's possible that this is causing issues due to hardware limitations.

Even though Henderson is a good insider in the industry, Ubisoft hasn't officially confirmed Assassin's Creed Mirage's August 2023 release date. Therefore, treat the text with caution.

With a more linear campaign and overhauled parkour system , Mirage is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This may be the last game in the saga to hit the PlayStation 4.
