Cloud's Weapon Becomes A Functional Controller In Final Fantasy VII Remake

In an interview with Famitsu, Kenichi Suzumura, who voiced Zack Fair in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII — Reunion, confirmed that the character will play a key role in Rebirth.

According to him, SOLDIER will be more active compared to the classic version, with more recorded scenes and plot-determining moments.

However, As if creating a replica of Cloud's iconic Buster Sword wasn't enough, YouTuber “Super Louis 64” converted the sword into a fully functional controller. In a video, he showed how the gear becomes usable in Final Fantasy VII Remake 's combat.

In the images, it is possible to observe how the sword simulates the gameplay through virtual reality techniques. With each player's movement, Cloud responds in the same way and attacks enemies within the game, being able to activate even his special abilities.

At a certain point, “Super Louis 64” complains of fatigue in simulating control through the Buster Sword. And this is not unexpected, since, according to him, the replica was completely covered in reinforced material to convey the feeling of weight.
