According to report from SamMobile, the Galaxy S23 series, which will be unveiled next year (probably on February 1), will be equipped with a full-blooded version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

AndroBliz learned that the Galaxy S23 Ultra (model SM-S918B) equipped with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip appeared on GeekBench a few weeks ago, showing a large core clock frequency of 3.36GHz.

And now the Galaxy S23 (model SM-S911B) has also appeared on GeekBench, showing that the clock frequency of the large core is the same as that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Although the final score of the Galaxy S23 base model (single-core 1188 points, multi-core 3099 points) is much lower than that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra (single-core 1504 points, multi-core 4580 points), this may be due to system optimization.

The reason is that the Galaxy S23 basic model has limited some performance in order to control the heat of the device. After all, due to the size problem, the smaller-sized Galaxy S23 has a lower heat dissipation effect than the Ultra model.
