The Callisto Protocol New Update Lets You Skip Kill Animations

The Callisto Protocol was one of the great promises of horror games for 2022, but its launch does not seem to have captivated the public.

One of the most common criticisms is the long death animations when protagonist Jacob is ambushed by some monster. Luckily, a new update released recently allows you to skip these cutscenes.

But that's not the only news that Striking Distance Studios brought through the update.

Now, Jacob can heal faster during clashes, making it easier to survive in fights - as well as being able to change weapons much more quickly. Also, there have been some quality of life improvements in the game.

The Callisto Protocol scores well below expectations on Metacritic, where it is currently rated at an average of 71 points. The horror title is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
